Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Wellness Beauty Clinic. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Services Offered

Our clinic provides a range of beauty treatments, including but not limited to:

  • Hair services for women and men

  • Beauty treatments

  • Laser hair removal

  • Tattoo removal

2. Hair Salon Terms and Conditions

Hair Services:

  • Clients must arrive on time for their appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time or rescheduling.

  • Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities before your appointment.

  • We recommend scheduling regular appointments for maintenance services like haircuts, color, and treatments to ensure optimal results.

  • Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Booking and Cancellations:

  • A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • No-shows or late cancellations will incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.

Payment:

  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of electronic payment.

Hair Salon Liability:

  • Wellness Beauty Clinic is not responsible for any allergic reactions or damage to hair resulting from services provided. Clients are advised to disclose their full medical and hair treatment history to their stylist.

3. Beauty Salon Terms and Conditions

Beauty Treatments:

  • Please arrive with clean skin for facial treatments. Makeup removal time will be deducted from your treatment time.

  • Inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before treatment.

  • For waxing services, hair growth must be at least 1/4 inch long.

  • Clients who are pregnant or have certain medical conditions may need to provide a doctor’s note before receiving treatments.

Booking and Cancellations:

  • A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • No-shows or late cancellations will incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.

  • Wellness Beauty Clinic is not responsible for any allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from treatments provided. Clients are advised to disclose their full medical history to their therapist.

4. Laser Hair Removal Pre- & Post-Treatment Care

Pre-Treatment Care:

  • The area to be treated must be clean-shaven. Unshaven clients will be rescheduled.

  • Avoid UV exposure 7 days before your treatment.

  • Avoid sunburns and tans for at least 2 weeks before treatment.

  • Avoid sunless tanning products 7 days before treatment. Exfoliate the area to remove any residual colour.

  • Apply numbing cream 30 to 40 minutes before your treatment if applicable. All products must be completely removed before treatment.

  • Come to appointments with clean skin in the area to be treated. Clients treating any part of their face or neck will be required to cleanse their entire face in the clinic.

  • Avoid chemical peels and other laser procedures in the area to be treated for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your laser treatment.

  • Avoid all alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxyl products (AHA/BHA), hydroquinone, retinol/retinoid, Tazorac, and Differin for 7 days before treatment.

  • Clients with abnormal lesions, moles, or spots on the area to be treated must be cleared by a medical practitioner before treatment.

  • Stop waxing, tweezing, and chemical epilation 3 weeks before treatment.

  • If you are prone to cold sores, taking an anti-viral medication is highly recommended before your treatment. Clients with active cold sores will not be treated.

  • Clients who have used Accutane or similar products within the last 6 months CANNOT have laser hair removal treatments.

  • Avoid physical activity that increases body temperature or blood pressure within 2 hours before and after treatments.

  • If you have Botox or dermal fillers in the area to be treated, wait 14 days before and after injection to receive treatments.

  • Antibiotics may increase photosensitivity. Check with your physician before receiving laser treatments if you are taking a long-term antibiotic. If you become ill and begin taking an antibiotic, you will need to be off the medication for 7 days before laser treatment.

  • Boots may not be worn immediately after leg treatments.

Post-Treatment Care:

  • Avoid extended UV exposure for 7 days post-treatment.

  • If blisters occur, do not puncture. If the skin is broken, apply an antibiotic ointment until healed.

  • Over-the-counter medication is recommended for post-treatment discomfort. You may also apply Restorative Gel (highly recommended), cool towels, ice packs, or aloe vera to alleviate discomfort due to heat.

  • Avoid using seat warmers immediately after treatment.

  • Avoid any additional laser treatments or chemical procedures on the treated area for at least 2 weeks post-treatment or until healing has occurred.

  • Use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30 or higher when receiving laser treatments and ongoing for maintenance.

  • If you experience any side effects, such as hypo- or hyperpigmentation, prolonged redness or swelling, a histamine reaction, or blistering, call or come in for instructions on treatment.

  • To achieve the best results, complete the full treatment schedule at the intervals recommended by your technician.

  • Exfoliate treated areas to minimize the risk of ingrown hairs.

5. Potential Side Effects

While side effects are uncommon, they may include:

  • Hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin)

  • Hypopigmentation (loss of skin pigmentation)

  • Mild to moderate burns or blisters

  • Permanent skin discoloration

  • Temporary redness

  • Follicular oedema (little pink/red puffiness and small bumps like goose bumps)

  • Swelling and itching in the treated area

  • Hives, rashes, bruising, and lack of desired results

6. Client Restrictions

  • Clients who are pregnant cannot be treated.

  • Technicians cannot treat over tattoos.

  • If you have epilepsy, Wellness Beauty Clinic is unable to provide treatment.

  • Clients with red, grey, or blonde hair in the area to be treated should consult with a Laser Technician before receiving treatments, as the laser is less effective on these hair colours.

  • Clients may not bring children under 12 to their appointments.

7. Liability

Wellness Beauty Clinic is not liable for any side effects or complications arising from the use of our services. Clients are advised to follow all pre- and post-treatment care instructions and to consult with their technician or a medical professional if any issues arise.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms will be resolved in the courts of United Kingdom.

Terms and Conditions for Promotions

REFUND POLICY – PRODUCTS
We cannot give refunds on any products sold, due to personal hygiene and health and safety reasons. If there is a fault with the product we can send back to the manufacturer for review.
REFUND POLICY – SERVICES
If you have had a treatment that you are unsatisfied with please bring it to the attention of the therapist and follow the complaints procedure (detailed below) We do not give refunds on any treatments or treatment packages however we will look into your concerns immediately and try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
REFUND POLICY TREATMENT COURSES
All treatments can be purchased in courses of 6 (pay for 5 treatments and get the 6th free), however the full amount must be paid at the beginning of the course.
We are happy to exchange it for another treatment or offer you a credit note depending on the circumstances; however, the courses are non-refundable.
The only exception to this policy is serious or long-term illness, confirmed by a medical certificate.
Please note this does not affect your statutory rights.
